Protect our earth and recycle the waste

Protect our earth and recycle the waste

Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. The recovery of energy from waste materials is often included in this concept. The recyclability of a material depends on its ability to reacquire the properties it had in its original state. It is an alternative to "conventional" waste disposal that can save material and help lower greenhouse gas emissions. It can also prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reducing energy use, air and water pollution.

Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle" waste hierarchy. It promotes environmental sustainability by removing raw material input and redirecting waste output in the economic system. There are some ISO standards related to recycling.

Recycling has been a common practice for most of human history, with recorded advocates as far back as Plato in the fourth century BC. During periods when resources were scarce, archaeological studies of ancient waste dumps show less household waste, implying that more waste was recycled in place of new material. In pre-industrial times, there is evidence of scrap bronze and other metals being collected in Europe and melted down for continuous reuse. Industrialization spurred demand for affordable materials. In modern times a company’s efficiency rate is heavily influenced by its recyclability rate.

Redear has always been a nature friendly brand that focuses hugely on giving back to our mother nature. So, at Redear we recycle almost all the waste materials possible. And Redear is a ISO9001-2015 certified company. Redear’s R&D department is on to the recyclability of each and every type of our product wastes. We’re working everyday on our way to improving our recycling modules and bring more and more innovation.

An important part of Redear’s recycling is the reproduction module. Since Redear works mostly with natural products which are not reusable such as wood, we developed a reproduction module where we plant one tree for every watch sold. This helps redear establish a sustainable supply chain of the best quality materials and it also helps us give back to nature more than what we take.
