"Ukrainian Luban", Everything in his watch is made of wood, even the tourbillon!!

Valerii Danevych was born in Kyiv in 1968. He is a Ukrainian. He has been involved in timepiece production since 2004. From the inside to the outside, he stood out making every part of the watch with wooden materials. Calling him a master would be an understatement. In the history of watchmaking, there are many people who used wood as a watchmaking material, but there are very few who have made them as special as he did, and today it is even rarer. Most of the clocks on the market are wooden desk clocks, wall clocks, and the famous Black Forest wall clocks, but there are many metal parts. Wooden watches such as WeWood, the main thing is that the case, dial and strap are made of wood, and the movement is still a normal metal movement. Wood is more of a decorative material than a functional material. When it comes to functional and decorative use of wood at the same time, there’s only Valerii Danevych.

As a carpenter, Valerii is very familiar with the properties of various woods, so he can make full use of the excellent qualities of various woods, which not only meet the functional requirements, but also have artistic aesthetics. Each wood is used just right. Similar to Australian Guaiacum, Bubinga, walnut, bamboo, etc., can be seen in the work of watchmakers. The combination of different woods gives the timepiece a pleasing beauty and layering feel.

Our Redear watch team just cleverly use this inspiration to bring wood elements to our watches, integrating nature and craftsmanship into watches.

But only wooden elements cannot reflect the texture. We also use metal to increase the sense of heaviness. This is our Redear watch. The following is the watch composition of our Redear watch.

Come and join the Redear watch family and enjoy the art and beauty brought together by the watch.
